We sat down with two mamas’s that we admire the most – Natalie Gee Robinson and Rachel Robinson to find out how these two powerhouse women juggle work, life and being parents to twin boy toddlers and a four-month-old baby girl.

Natalie Gee Robinson is co-founder of one of our go-to beauty emporiums Gee Beauty, Natalie believes in using beauty as a form of self expression. “Most people don’t wear the same designer every day, so it should be the same for their beauty routine. I love to show clients how to transform from the gym – yes, there are fitness-friendly faces – to work to nighttime. In addition to perfecting our signature Gee Beauty Brow, some of the tips i like to share are creating a quick and effective skin-care regimen, fresh and glowing skin, and a fun or dramatic eye look.”

Rachel’s approach to fitness is not only about changing the body, but really changing the way you feel inside. She focuses more on the internal feeling & sense of accomplishment – rather than on the body, even though that of course follows when people commit to a healthier lifestyle.

Find out how they multitask, find balance and make it all work even with a busy household.

Do you have any beauty shortcuts that mom’s need to know about? Everything for us must multitask, because sometimes we literally have 5 min each to get dressed and be ready! We love Dry Shampoo, a good Hydrating Mask that we can double as a night cream, and a really gentle body wash that we can use for us and the kids!

Everyone has that ritual that makes them feel confident and pulled together, what’s yours? Our bathroom is such a sanctuary, while small and cozy, it’s where we all take the best baths! Bath time for our kids is something we never miss, and so for us, taking a few moments to get in the bath really helps us feel refreshed. We love bath salts, and whether we have 5 or 15minutes, we make sure to allow one another to have these moments!

Do you have any first-time mom advice? We are with you! Half the time as a new mom, you are winging it, so stick to your instinct even when you think you don’t know, you do. We really found talking to other moms is always so helpful.

What beauty product can you not live without? Goldfaden Bright Eyes! Talk about a product that gives your skin so much hydration and de puffs at the same time is a win for us!

How do you find balance? Balance is really about taking any moments you have to yourself and enjoying the time to value it.

How do you de-stress? We talk a lot to each other and how we communicate means everything for our peace of mind. By talking through our stressful moments, and taking the time to listen, we have found is the key to really de stressing. Also a glass of wine and a hot bath, can certainly solve a lot too!

If you suffer from chronic pain or health issues, you’ve probably considered (or been told to consider) acupuncture or even something more basic as in Chinese Medicine. Eastern alternative medicine is  a healing medicine, merged together with the wisdom of the east and the knowledge of the west, offered for those seeking out wellness, healing and longevity. *Acupuncture has been around for thousands of years. In a session, the “needle” is used to stimulate specific, powerful sites (acupoints) along meridian lines, which is though to promote healing throughout the body’s various systems and realign “balance” within the body. Acupuncture has been successfully used to treat pain, PTSD, arthritis, chronic stress, addiction, insomnia, digestive disorders and much more.

VIE HEALING was created by Mona Dan: Acupuncturist, herbalist, tea lover, traveler, mama, holistic lifestyle leader, and passionate health educator. VIE HEALING represents a holistic lifestyle that goes far beyond health fads, juicing and quick fixes.

We had the opportunity to sit down with Mona to talk about balance and how she achieves it daily.

What is your definition of Balance?

Balance for me is feeling at peace with whats expected of me and what i’m doing. Living in the moment, feeling present but excited about the future!

First thing you do when you wake up, is?

Snuggling and bonding for 15 minutes with my son Zac, without thinking about what the say ahead has in store or will require of me.

Last thing you do before you go to sleep, is?

Shower or bath. Every. Single. Night.

How do you balance life + keep wellness top-of-mind?

Through incorporating my rituals: my supplements keep my nervous system chill, and i always slow down for tea in the morning and evening and evening and baths. These self-care habits keep me in check throughout the day.

What are your tips/advice for people to create balance in their life?

Finding a few activities that can take 1-20 min a day that reminds them of the little things in life they enjoy!
