Before the high end spas, hotels and fancy shops of Lincoln Road on Miami Beach, Brownes Trading Co. opened its doors and started a long term oasis for beauty junkies. After many years in this famed neighborhood Browne’s spilt their store and opened in two new locations. If you find yourself vacationing in Miami or you are a local, you need to check out these hidden gems. Both salons are full service offering a menu of beauty treatments from head to toe. Brownes is recognized for it’s curated selection of high-end skincare and beauty brands including yours truly! Pop in for a signature Goldfaden Glow facial or maybe just the best manicure you’ve ever had.
The Miami Beach location isn’t far from the original just a little more off the beaten path. With its bohemian vibe, eclectic furniture and homage to the late local Miami artist Purvis Young, you immediately feel at peace and just a little cooler when you step inside.
The second location opened in the heart of Miami’s hottest new growing area, the Design District. DD as its referred to by locals, is a creative neighborhood that is filling up with numerous high-end designer stores like Tom Ford, Marni and Christian Louboutin as well as art galleries and trendy chef owned restuarnats. This Brownes location is bright, airy and the best places to get a beauty treatment or buy exotic candles and makeup in the neighborhood! We couldn’t be more excited to be supporting our local friends in business and helping Miami flourish into an even more innovative city.
Sam Wennerstrom is a boss, to say the least. Not only is she a new mom but she runs the lifestyle + fashion blog, Could I Have That? With more than 102k followers on Instagram. She has been a positive force behind the brand for some time, so we thought we’d catch up with our lady friend and get the inside scoop on upcoming summer beauty & fashion trends from the fashion insider herself. Enjoy! xx

4. What is your go-to skincare routine? Cleansing morning and night, exfoliating twice a week with either a Clarisonic brush or Goldfaden MD’s Doctor’s Scrub; moisturizing with a serum or anti aging night treatment and eye cream morning/night. Oh and sunscreen every day, or at least try!

It was such a surreal experience and I had the opportunity to meet and hang out with fashion editors from all over the world. That was a turning point for me and I started taking my business much more seriously.
SHAMELESS PLUG:
8. What’s your favorite Goldfaden MD product, and why? The Doctor’s Scrub! It will completely transform my skin from dull to radiant after one use. It leaves my skin glowing.

Fashion:
LISA:
When it comes to my spring into summer look, I want to keep it simple but interchangeable from day to night. Because I travel so much I look for pieces that I can mix and match. When putting together an outfit I usually start with shoes because I like to be comfortable. I am obsessing over these Alaia sandals! I love them because they’re flat but still so fancy.
When I saw this Michael Kors dress it reminded me of a Mastroianni movie and since I covet anything Italian, I had to have it. The prefect day to night dress. Packs super well and then I can just switch out my shoes and bag and add a scarf or leather jacket for an evening look.
I love to wear white because I think it makes me look like I have more color than I do. It also goes with anything. This DKNY keyhole crop top looks great with jeans and booties or a pencil skirt and heels.
Anything denim-sign me up. Track pants that are denim are great to fly in and pack super well. Light hues of denim out now are my favorite.
Graffiti & Jimmy-say ‘YES’ ! I am lusting after this bag– I’d even just carry it around my apartment….
LAUREN:
Being pregnant makes my love for fashion all that much harder as “dressing the bump” has become increasingly challenging. I will be living in this IRO dress (my favorite French clothing brand) until i give birth. It’s lightweight, airy, comfortable and chic all at the same time.
So many lust-wrothly styles from Illesteva, but I will be wearing the Leonard frame style all Summer long.
I’m very adventurous when it comes to nail colors, lengths and sizes. When the “pastel” craze hit again this season I couldn’t wait to get painted like an Easter egg. Light blues and greens are my go to colors and Eve Snow polish is not only gorgeous but good for your nails too! This polish contains Marula Oil, Equisetum Extract, Vitamin B12 and has sun-protective properties! And no formaldehyde.
I have a lot of hair but it is fine and curly and I color it, so this can equal damage and unruliness. I fist got introduced to Phillip Bee at Space NK apothecary. The smell is so divine you will want to eat it. The high price is justified by the strength building and softness effect this shampoo delivers. Worth every penny!
I try to keep my skincare as natural and clean as possible, so when I’m not slathering Goldfaden MD all over, I use REN. Their Moroccan body oil is delicious and hydrating.
LAUREN:
Jin Soon is a total nail guru and I love her simplistic, yet standout colors and nail art designs. Currently wearing her French Lilac – i am channeling the baby girl that I am carrying!
Even though warmer weather is finally here, my skin is still in need of major hydration and radiance. I am seeing such great results from using our Fleuressence facial oil, so will be using this through the Summer months. Insider tip: I have been adding a drop into my daily foundation for an added luminescent glow; it’s amazing!
Entering Spring means shorter dresses and eventually jean shorts in the summer. Dry skin left over from the winter needs to be buffed away! This brush stimulates circulation to improve the appearance of cellulite while smoothing out dry skin.
For a splurge I goto Oasis Day spa to et my body Sprung ready with their amazing body wrap. It slims, tones and gets rid of toxins that may cause inflammation and cellulite. Great to do right before you will be in a bathing suit!

LAUREN:
Gina Mari’s (the best LA-based facial skin guru) Oxygen facial is literally a skin-changer. I am in her office virtually every week and my skin has never looked so flawless!
